Robert Lee
Senior Adviser
Robert Lee is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School. He holds a Ph.D. from Drexel University, a Master’s in Accountancy and Consultancy degree from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
He is an award-winning teacher who has received five teaching awards across various institutions, including the highest honor for teaching excellence at Pepperdine. He has taught in various graduate programs, such as executive education, MBA, MS in Applied Finance, MS in Global Business, MS in Real Estate, and online programs at Pepperdine University.
As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA), he provides consulting services to companies throughout the Los Angeles area. He also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. Before joining Pepperdine, he worked as a senior auditor at a Big Four public accounting firm.
He is also an active researcher in the accounting and finance fields. His work has been published in leading business journals and presented at international academic conferences. He has published in several accounting journals, including Journal of Business Ethics, Advances in Taxation, Managerial Auditing Journal, and Strategic Finance, among others.
Robert lives in Southern California with his wife and two children. He grew up in the Northeast and is an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies.
