Regina (Reggie) is a corporate attorney and family business advisor with close to 30 years of experience. As an advisor, Reggie specializes in helping clients understand how their estate and tax planning impacts ownership strategies for their family enterprise. In her work with families, she strives to ensure the family’s values and purpose are reflected in the corporate and estate planning work that she does.
Reggie’s work involves working with family ownership groups to prepare for the transfer of ownership of shared assets from one generation to the next. To this end, she advises on corporate structuring and guides her clients in understanding the issues and questions they need to address related to their tax and estate planning needs.
Reggie grew up being part of a family business and often leverages her experiences with her own family to bring experiences and insights to her clients. She has worked with clients across industries and has experience in the fields of Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Energy, Infrastructure and Technology and counseling for government-initiated nation building ventures. In 1997, Regina co-founded PJS Law, a full-service law firm in the Philippines which has since expanded its client network within and beyond the ASEAN Region.
In 2019, she co-founded UNAWA, a regulatory technology company keeping her on the beat with the tech industry. She currently leads as its CEO. She also serves on several private and public company boards and on private foundation boards in the Philippines. She is also a trustee of the NVC Foundation and has served in similar positions for non-profit organizations.
She received her Juris Doctor from the Ateneo De Manila University, where she graduated within the top 15 of her class.
