Oscar Eduardo Páez Torres is a an internationally recognized family enterprise advisor, board member, and speaker who helps business families navigate governance, succession, family offices, conflict management, and generational transitions.

Oscar has advised family businesses, family offices, and enterprising families around the world on governance, ownership, continuity, leadership development, and family dynamics.

He currently serves as Head of Family Enterprise at Saaga Family Wealth and as an Affiliate Partner with Generational Transitions Advisors. At GTA Oscar supports families throughout the Southeastern United States, the Hispanic U.S. market, and Latin America.

Previously, Oscar advised clients through The Family Business Consulting Group (FBCG), the world’s largest family business consulting firm, and Continuity Family Business Consulting. Earlier in his career, he served as Country Head and legal representative of UBS in Colombia and held senior positions with UBS, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch. He also served as CEO of Productos Alimenticios El Galpón, a multi-generational family-owned manufacturing company.

Oscar holds degrees from the University of Miami and completed executive education in negotiation, mediation, and conflict management through Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation. He serves on the Board of Directors of Family Business Network USA and several corporate and nonprofit boards.

A member of a second-generation family business and a blended family, Oscar brings both professional expertise and personal experience to helping families preserve what matters most: relationships, values, wealth, and enterprises that endure across generations.
