Christina (Christie) Carmelle Lopez is an advisor, author, and former U.S. diplomat with two decades of experience in adult education, learning and development, strategic communications, and organizational transformation. She helps organizations and professionals navigate change, build alignment, and translate vision into action.

Christina began her career in diplomacy, serving with the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in London. She later spent more than a decade in higher education, where she led strategic initiatives, supported student and faculty success, and developed and managed multiple graduate degree programs.

Most recently, Christina worked for Deloitte Consulting, supporting large-scale enterprise transformations for leading organizations with a focus on change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption. She brings particular expertise in designing and facilitating learning experiences that deepen understanding, build confidence, and support personal and professional growth.

Christina is the author of Get the Degree Without Losing Your Mind: The Busy Student’s Guide to Study Hacking, a practical guide to personal effectiveness for adult learners. She holds an MBA in International Business from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, an MA in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego, and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Intercultural Communications from Pepperdine University.
